Apologies for the break here. Taliah has removed to the Orkneys for a few years and what with one thing and another, we're just catching up. We have been busy though ! Circle members helped and performed at 'Literally in a Day' at the The Hive, Worcester's new library/history centre, in April. This was one of three 'taster' events for the building, which opened to the public on 2nd July and will be officially opened by the Queen on 11th. And we participated, volunteered and ran events at the second Worcestershire Literary Festival in June. Congratulations to member Damon Lord for coming fifth in the Worcestershire Poet Laureate competition, held at the festival's launch event at the Swan Theatre on 15th June, and to Andy Kirk for being a finalist in the Flash Fiction competition. We're all fired up now to get out and about more with our work. Edinburgh...?

  1. It was a brilliant achievement from Damon, and I was chuffed to bits with my success.

  2. Great news for both WWC writers ~ good to see the blog active :)
